Before Michael Jackson appears on stage, several ambulances will be positioned, waiting to carry hundreds of people that will faint during his mere appearance and lifting of hands…
Stadiums across the world were not enough to contain his type of crowd…
The intensity of the hysteria and frenzy was out of this world…
You see the people shouting, crying, and breaking chairs all because Jackson appeared and lifted up his hands…
It is worthy of note that despite all these manifestations, Jackson did not even have the Holy Ghost In him… It was all sensationalism.
Today, the Jackson syndrome has overtaken our churches
If people didn’t faint and shout in a Revival meeting, the young man of God would say God didn’t come that day…
If chairs didn’t break during Anointing service, some will say the service wasn’t an Anointed one.
What is now influencing our version of Pentecost is the effect of the Jackson syndrome…
Jackson comes to stage and lifts up his hands, and as people begin shouting and fainting, he takes glory and honour…
The young man of God comes to stage and lifts his hands, and as the people are shouting with his Praises and claps, he takes the glory…
The Holy One of Israel was not the one behind Michael Jackson’s concerts,
Now the Church of our day is now driving the Holy One of Israel from His own Church and stealing the glory all to ourselves because of our craze to become Pentecostal superstars…
I know where we learnt this thing from…
These things were not in existence during the days of our Apostolic fathers…
These things began with us. We learnt it from Michael Jackson.
It is called the Jackson syndrome in Pentecost…
IT IS A SUPER STAR CRAZE…
Is it not obvious that our version of Pentecost is now in competition with Jackson’s…?
On the day of Pentecost, what was the evidence that God came?
The evidence wasn’t just because of the cloven tongues of fire on their heads but that the crowds of people who heard their message were pricked in their heart and said “men and brethren what shall we do?”
“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Acts 2:37.
Five thousand Jews repented in one night…
Beyond the Jackson syndrome of falling and shouting, which we have now reduced Pentecost to, if people are not getting genuinely saved and converted,
If people are not getting baptized in the Holy Ghost and manifesting the sincere fruits of the Spirit
We will be having Michael Jackson kind of concerts assuming it is the Holy Ghost Revival…
A young man of God who is obsessed with the Jackson Syndrome doesn’t care if people get born again in his meeting
What he cares about is the shouting, breaking chairs, calling phone numbers
We are yet to see true revival, oh
We are still far from the authentic wine of Pentecost
This wine we serve people during our Revival meetings that doesn’t convict them of sin and righteousness is a strange wine…
Michael Jackson served his generation better than this thing we are doing today.
We can’t be competing to gather crowd like he did just to mesmerise them with a sensational gospel that doesn’t convict and convert men…
We are bigger than that…
We can’t say God didn’t come to a meeting because the service wasn’t full like Jackson’s
Scriptures says where two or three are gathered in his name, God is there…
No one is against manifestations, I see them in almost all of my meetings…
What the message is against is when we replace the real substance for sensationalism…
The message is against looking for shadows and not looking out for real conversion of the people in our meetings.
It is time for us to stop chasing shadows and focus on true spirituality, which manifests in the transformation of souls and consecration of their vessels.
IT IS TIME TO CONSECRATE YOUR LIFE TO YESHUA AND BE VERY SERIOUS ABOUT IT THIS TIME BECAUSE THE TIME IS TOO SHORT…
