HE GIVES MORE GRACE TO THE HUMBLE – PART TWO
James 4:6
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
We learnt from part one that; if any man rejects the wisdom of God(the Word of God) and refuses to come to God and makes the decision not to heed to the Word, such an one is a proud man.
Today, many have hardened their hearts to the Word of God and do not even want to be corrected. It is dangerous to get yourself in the place where your heart is against God’s Word.
That’s why you must protect your heart. You must keep your heart always opened to the Word of God so that there will not be space for the devil to deceive you.
Apart from walking outside God’s Word (will), you can dream to become as great as you want and it will not be pride. You can aspire to become one of the most influential people in the world and it will not be pride. You can decide to become rich and wealthy according to God’s Word and it will not be pride.
God does not want you to be poor. Think about it, how can your poverty bring glory to God? Poverty is a curse but that curse has been broken in your life because of what Jesus did for you. Now, go ahead and prosper!
