HAVE NO FEAR, ONLY BELIEVE – PART THREE
Mark 5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
Jesus, on His way to Jairus house was necessitated to attend to a certain woman who laid hold on the healing power of God flowing through Him. This woman spent everything she had on consultations and medications to be free from her condition but the Bible says, she “… was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,” So, the condition rather grew worse instead of it improving and she suffered for twelve good years!
You can imagine how terrible it was for this woman. The Bible calls her, “… a certain woman… “ and was characterized by her condition,” … which had an issue of blood twelve years,… “ While Jesus was on His way to handle Jairus daughter’s condition, this woman with the issue of blood “said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” She only believed! He faith overcame that condition. She knew that she only had to believe. She went everywhere seeking for help but there was no solution. But when she believed in Jesus, she acted upon her faith “And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.”
Remember that Jesus was on His way to Jairus house to settle a matter. But this woman who had been bleeding for twelve years decided the time for her healing by her faith because she said: “…If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” She set the time for her healing, she believed and acted upon her faith and it worked, for faith does not fail!
