BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT AT ALL TIMES
Ephesians 5:18 “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”
As a child of God, it is essential that you are constantly being filled with the Spirit. The presence of the Spirit of God in your life is for your advantage. God wants you to live a successful and victorious life. God wants you to prosper and to be in health. When you are full of the Spirit, He will teach you the how!
Check for instance in Joshua 1:8, God made it clear what kind of life he wants you to live: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Just to think of it, the plans that God has for you are massive. Reading from the book of Jeremiah, we have a picture of the kind of life God wants us to live: Jer.29.11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV)
To be filled with the Spirit is a wonderful thing. When you are filled with the Spirit, you are able to carry out the instructions of God easily. You will be able to maintain your passion for the Lord. God wants us to win souls, now is the time to win souls. Get yourself full of the Spirit, to be bold enough to win souls today.
