BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED
Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
You are a God-kind. Your life carries the very verities of God, you are one with Him.
The Bible shows us that we are one with God. 1 Corinthians 6:17 “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” The scripture means we are united with the Lord and we are one with Him.
We have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 “ For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” There is a way we must think, we must think the Word way. We must let the Word of God guide us in our thinking. Apostle Paul by the Spirit gave us the guideline for our thinking: Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
You are heavenly. You are from above. Your nativity is heavenly. Set your affection on the things that really matter. Don’t be moved by the things in this world. Be conscious of God’s business, fill your thoughts with His Word.
Be on the go for God, have time for Him. Love the Lord Jesus, give Him your heart (mind and attention). Think of pleasing Him always, be driven by His love.
