Psalms 140:13
Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
Why will the righteous give thanks? Because, the Bible says in: Proverbs 4:18 “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” Again, the Bible shows us: Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”
Who is the righteous? The righteous is the child of God, born of God. That man, that woman who have been justified by God Almighty because of his/her faith in Christ Jesus. The Bible shows us that – for with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
Look into your life, identify the great and wonderful things God has done for you and begin to give him thanks. Thank Him from your heart in words, in songs and also in your offerings.
