CONTROL YOUR TONGUE
Prov.18.21 Those who love to talk will experience the consequences, for the tongue can kill or nourish life. (NLT)
Nobody in his right sense will take a poison to drink. People who do that are mostly influenced by demon spirits. When people give the devil the chance in their lives, he destroys everything.
Remember the words of
Jesus in the gospel according to Saint John:
John.10.10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (NKJV)
Words can either be for your good or they can ruin your life depending on how you use them. Your life is in your mouth! No, pause and think about it. Well, I think we should take our opening scripture from the message translation:
Prov.18.21 Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit–you choose. (MSB)
My, oh my! Did you just read that? What did you see? But that’s it, the words we speak are potent, they have the power to direct the cause of our lives. Many years ago, I read from somewhere and this is what I found: take care of your mouth and your mouth will take care of you.
