CRAVE SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT
Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
God is interested in every detail of your life. Even the hairs on your head are numbered: Luke 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
It is the Word of God that is able to build you up. To live the successful, victorious and an unending life of glory life in Christ, you must allow yourself to be taught the Word of God constantly; you must grow in the knowledge of God!
To know God is to understand life. Any man who knows God cannot be deceived. This is because when you know God, you will be known by Him. As we know Him, we are known by Him and this is just amazing! The Word of God is our source of nourishment.
The Bible says in third John, the second verse: 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. You will realize from the above scripture that the emphasis of the Spirit is the prosperity of your soul.
So now, it is when your soul prospers from receiving the Word of God that you are able to experience growth. From first Peter chapter two, the second verse: 1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
