2 Corinthians 13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
In yesterday’s devotional, we learnt that we are righteous in Christ Jesus. Reading from: Romans 3:24-25 [24]Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [25]Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
We understand by the Spirit of God that we our righteousness is of God and not of ourselves. We are justified by faith in Christ Jesus, meaning, we are declared righteous by God through our faith in Christ Jesus. We are declared righteous by grace through our faith in Christ Jesus. Glory to God! Now, you are righteous, not because of your good works but because of what Christ did for you on the cross.
3. You are the Word of God made flesh: James 1:18 “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”
