SAMUEL NASAM

DO THIS AND YOUR BARNS WILL BE FILLED WITH PLENTY

Proverbs 3:9-10 [9] Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: [10] So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

When a man receives a gift, he is happy, he celebrates and he desires for more. Imagine that you received your dream car as a gift from someone, I think you will be happy. You may even testify at church how much the Lord has blessed you.

But you see, receiving is not where the problem is: the problem is at the giving end. If you don’t give recklessly and persistently, you may never receive any precious thing as a gift from people.

Remember the words of Jesus: Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Reading from Ecclesiastes, the Bible says: Ecclesiastes 11:1 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. This means, when you give, there is certainty that you will receive and as given said: good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.

For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Honour the Lord with your substance in your tithes, first fruits, seeds and liberal giving to others, you will testify of His faithfulness.
