DO THIS ONE THING

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.

If you desire to make impact in the Kingdom of God, you must learn to quickly forget your past. Never be tied to your past otherwise you may not be able to take the steps that are required for you to take which will birth some of the biggest differences in your life.

When we talk about the past, we are not limiting it to only the negatives. I am not saying forget only about the failures in the past. You must learn to forget even about your achievements in the past and reach forth unto those things which are before you.

You must be forward minded. I love to make progress. Stop talking about your past achievements and start strategizing for tomorrow. I am not saying don’t testify, don’t get me wrong. I am saying that after testifying or even while testifying you should have started seeing what lies before you.

Philippians 3:14 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” At the time Apostle Paul was writing this by the Spirit of God, he had already achieved so much in life and in ministry.

Never let your past success become your enemy. Everyday is an opportunity to make a difference in your life and that of others. Don’t let your past mistakes and successes cause you to look back. Look forward, be forward minded. Keep making progress in the Spirit.
