SAMUEL NASAM

DON’T BE QUIET

1 Samuel 1:1 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.

Hannah, the Prophet Samuel’s mother in the Bible was faced with a great challenge. There was this matter to settle and she knew that the only place to settle the matter was with God in prayer. After Hannah had been through so much pain and “disgrace” – she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore!

That trouble that Hannah was faced with did not change until she travailed in prayer. Hannah was barren and could not give birth. Her husband had married another woman who gave birth and this woman will often cause her pain because she(Hannah) had no child. Many years passed and Hannah still was without a child. But!…..

But she decided not to be silent and to “give it to God”. Better remove that mindset from your system. Some people say, “give it to God” when the responsibility of changing the situation is no longer in the hands of God. God has given us the power to cause changes, it is called dunamis. You received this power when you were born again, when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour. The way to engage this power is by making prayers consistently.

Now, no matter what is troubling you, do not be quiet – pray until you see the manifestations of the change you desire.
