DON’T STOP DOING GOOD
Eph.6.8 Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free. (NLT)
Sometimes there is the temptation to stop doing good to people because of a negative experience you might have had while helping someone or a group of people. There are ungrateful people in this world but there are also grateful people. There are bad people but there also good people.
Don’t stop doing good because someone offended you or did not come back to thank you. There are many grateful people you are yet to meet in your life. And guess what? Those who did not come back to appreciate you cannot prevent you from being rewarded by God!
So now, fix your mind on God rather than on the people you are helping. You should be wise in dealing with the people you help (let the Holy Spirit guide you by praying and studying the Word).
Don’t help people beyond your capacity to. Help people within your means and make the right investments as well (invest in the lives of grateful people). If you find a grateful person in your life, treat them special and make more investments into their lives. There are very few grateful people, hold them in high esteem.
