Proverbs 4:18
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
There’s a path of the just. There’s a unique path laid for the just. The way of the child of God is blessed! We tread on a path that’s glorious and that leads us into higher glory.
Why is the path of the just a shining light? Simple, because the Lord is our shepherd! He leads us in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake:
Psalms 23:3 “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”
No wonder the Bible shows us to walk in the Word of God, it shows us to walk in the Spirit. If you walk in the Word, you will never be defeated. Though there will be storms and the wind will blow, you will not be removed.
Your path is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the firm or confirmed day. This is not a particular day, for example, Friday or Tuesday, it talks about an establishment; in that you are established by the Lord in a spiritual and physical realm where you keep shining more and more.
