EXCEEDING GREAT JOY
Nehemiah 8:10
“… this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
Joy in itself is strength, it is an inner force which is experienced having been satisfied with God, having completed an assignment, or being at peace in your “heart of hearts”, knowing that everything is in control.
Every single day must be “this day” in your life. You must always be joyful, remember it is strength in itself to be joyful. There are many scriptures we can look at in line with joy;
Psalms 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Thus, basically, you cannot experience joy to a certain degree outside of the presence of God but in the presence of God is fullness of joy!
1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.
Go ahead and be joyful! When you are joyful, there are a lot you are able to accomplish in your life. How can you be joyful always? By spending time with the Holy Spirit.
