GIVE ATTENDANCE TO THESE THINGS
1 Timothy 4:13
Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
You can be “prayerful” and broke, foolish, sick and confused in life. I have met a lot of people who have zeal for the Lord but are not wise in their dealings in life.
I don’t want you to be passionate for the Lord and poor in life.
You see, to be rich or to be poor is a choice; to be healthy is a choice and to be sick is a choice. Listen, you can be successful in your walk with God accompanied with wealth and riches.
Apostle Paul told Timothy to give himself to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Imagine it was Apostle Paul writing this devotional… what do you think he will tell Timothy about it? He will certainly tell him to study the devotional and get it across to others. Well, he told Timothy to read and listen to messages and give himself to teachings because there are many things praying alone will not solve.
If you want to have an exceptional life and succeed in any endeavor, give yourself to seeking knowledge in that field. Learn something new everyday and keep learning everyday.
