GOD WANTS TO BE KNOWN
Jeremiah 9:24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
God is a mystery to those without the mind of Christ but for us who have the mind of Christ, God is not a mystery – He desires to be known and we must search Him out.
Knowing God is so important, in fact, Jesus prayed a special prayer for us to know God; John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
Apostle Paul also wrote by the Spirit, a fervent desire and he said; Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
It is amazing that God wants us to know Him. Some people are afraid of God, they have no understanding. God is not a secret to be kept, He wants to be known. You cannot make Him known if you do not know Him. We are supposed to teach men and women about God and make them grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The only way you can help others come to the knowledge of God is by getting immersed in the knowledge of God yourself.
