GOD WHY? Part 4
Prov.4.23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. (NIV)
Continuing from yesterday’s devotional… For example, when you feel like eating – it is not God that feeds you, God does not put the food in your mouth.
In the same vein, when you have a farm or a business; God does not go to the farm to weed and water it, God will not take your products and go and sell for you in the market place. You are the one who make all these happen.
While this may look light, the iron truth is that – you programed the quality of your life.
God has given you the grace, He has given you all you will ever need to make things happen in your life but whether you make them happen or not it’s up to you. This truth pricks the heart.
3. We refuse to make things happen when either we know the things we should do to get the results we want but we don’t do them or we do not even know at all what we should do to get the results we desire.
We may not be able to answer all the questions I asked one by one but I believe this truth I shared with you will enlighten you to think in line with the Word to know that it is not God’s fault that someone is poor, sick or may have even died.
Probably, something had to be done to avert that situation but no one was there to do it.
Or maybe, somethings should not have been done but someone or some people did them. When you allow yourself, the world will step on you so be strong and resilient in the Word of God. Find out your whys from the Bible.
