HAVE A GRATEFUL ATTITUDE TOWARDS GOD
1Cor.2.9 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]. (AMP)
God is good. You must be able to look at your life and thank God for how far you have come. Though God did not determine the quality of your life (you are the one who determine whether you become what God made you to become). He, God, gave you a mind to think. There’s nothing you have that you did not receive!
If you can appreciate the goodness of God in your life right now, if you can show gratitude to God for His grace, mercy and peace in your life – then you are ready to receive more of what He has been doing for you.
Understand that the thoughts of God concerning your life are good:Jer.29.11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV)
This means all that God has prepared (made keeps ready) for you are prosperous. Knowing this, you have to have a grateful attitude towards God for His love towards you. When you are grateful, you are graceful and you will not lack!
