HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH
John 16:13 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
Jesus does not want you to live in error. He does not want you to imitate the ideals and opinions of the culture around you. He wants you to live a beautiful life that pleases God.
The Bible talks about the Holy Spirit in our opening scripture. Jesus calls Him the Spirit of Truth.
The striking thing is, you have the Spirit of Truth residing in you right now if you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Let’s find out from God’s Word: 1John.2.27 “As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him. (NIV)”
How will he guide you? The answer is, through the Word of God! That’s why the Bible says: Rom.12.2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]. (AMP)
