PATTERN OF GOOD WORKS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SAMUEL NASAM
HOW TO BE STRONG – PART TWO.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
We learnt from yesterday’s devotional to take full responsibility for our lives in Christ, I established that: “God created man a free moral agent. Man was created to have his own will, to be able to make a choice and this is the most powerful weapon in a man’s hand.”
I also established that “God does not learn for people, you must learn for yourself.” This statement stemmed from a scripture we considered from the book of Proverbs: “A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.”
Truly, the Bible didn’t say, “A “God” of knowledge is strong;…” rather, it is clear that – it is a “man” of knowledge that is strong.
God is expecting you to wax great and move forward in your endeavors. You must realize and teach others also to understand that our strength in God will always be affected by our knowledge. Indeed, from the book of Daniel, we have even more light concerning this truth: Daniel 11:32 “… the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
He didn’t say you will be strong because God is alive but because you know Him, it is your knowledge of Him that brings you into higher levels of strength in Him. Commit yourself to the ministry of the Word, and prayer – you will inevitably grow!
CONFESSION
I am filled with joy from the Spirit, I am growing in knowledge as I study more
and my strength in the Lord is waxing great; I am going about doing exploits.
