1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
Growing up spiritually is to your advantage. Naturally, when you grow up as a person, you are able to do so many things for yourself. Spiritually speaking too, it’s the same.
The more you are growing up spiritually, the more you are able to solve the problems of life by yourself. When you get to the point where you are able to solve life’s problems by yourself, you are going to enjoy your life.
In this life, you will always have to solve problems every single day. In fact, even your emotional life is dependent on the state of your spiritual growth.
God does not want us to remain children in the things of the Spirit but when it comes to evil, He wants us to be children (He does not want us to know too much about evil and grow in it) rather He wants us to be mature in His Word and take full responsibility for our lives.
If you read the book of Joshua, the first chapter and the eighth verse, you will realize that God’s aim is for us to grow and become responsible for our lives (… for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success).
He wants us to deal wisely in the affairs of life and it requires that we mature in the things of the Spirit to be able to do that.

CONFESSION
I am waxing greater every single day. I am increasing in the wisdom of God, my spirit is catching the Word every day and I am flourishing in the Word!
