LET THE WORD GUIDE YOU IN PRAYER
Luke.18.1 Also [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up). (AMP)
You must make up your mind that prayer is something you must constantly make in order to stay current in the dealings of God. Prayer will never go alone except with the Word of God, wherever there’s prayer, there must be the Word of God also.
I love to read what the Apostles said about prayer and the Word of God: Acts.6.4 But we will continue to devote ourselves steadfastly to prayer and the ministry of the Word. (AMP)
The Word of God is so important that the Apostle saw the need to devote themselves completely to it, they called it “the ministry of the Word.” This is so amazing!
Think about it, the Word of God plays a major role in your life. The Bible says that it builds you up: Acts.20.32 And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God ‘s set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul). (AMP)
When praying, let the Word guide you and direct the course of your prayer.
