LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE! – PART ONE
Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
The Word of God, from the book of James is likened to a mirror. One of the properties of mirrors is that, they reflect. A good mirror will reflect your image if you look at it. It shows you your image.
It is the same thing here, you are literally what the Word of God says you are! Jesus Christ, who is Himself God, declared concerning us, “Ye are the light…” I am the light of the world, that’s my identity, that’s the image the Word shows me when I look. Now that I am the light of the world, what must I do? Jesus said:
Matthew 5:16
[16]Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
How to let your light shine……. Lets continue tomorrow.
