LIVING IN THE WORD OF GOD
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Lets read the verse two of our opening scripture from the Amplified Translation:
Rom.8.2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death. (AMP)
Being a child of God is not a light matter. For instance, in this world, we consider those born into royal families to be very “blessed.”
If you were talking with someone and you realized that person was a prince or a princess of a particular kingdom, suddenly your attitude will change towards that person.
You will begin to honour that royal in a special way.
As a new creation, you are not a common person. You were born into God’s royal family.
You are part of God’s family now. Wait a minute – realize that most often the “law” does not affect people in high places and they do not become victims of economic crisis.
Now that you are in Christ, you are governed by a new set of rules and so those rules that go against those without Christ does not apply to you.
If you therefore live the kind of life you are supposed to be living (living in the Word), you can never become a victim in this life.
So, the condemnation of sin, death, poverty and sicknesses does not apply to you. Your life is beautiful!
