LIVING UNTO THE LORD
Rom.12.1 “I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.” (AMP)
You cannot live anyhow, the life that you now live is Christ: Gal.2.20 “I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (AMP)
God expects you to live a life that is worthy and pleasing unto Him. You cannot live the way you want; you must live the way God has chosen for you to live. This is simply because you do not own yourself. You are God’s property, you are His possession, yes, the Bible says we are His special possession!
1Pet.2.9 “But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are a kingdom of priests, God’s holy nation, his very own possession. This is so you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” (NLT)
Think about how amazing this is. You belong to God, you are His own, His special belonging. This is why you must present yourself to Him, living every day of your life in His power and grace, devoted to Him.

CONFESSION
I am God’s special possession; I am for God. God made me for Himself, therefore, I refuse to live anyhow. I live to please God because I am His special possession.
