A MASTER OVER CIRCUMSTANCES
Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
I definitely want to be rich if the riches come from the blessing of the Lord! But that is exactly what our opening scripture is saying here; it is the blessing of the Lord that brings about true riches. True riches have no sorrows with it.
Imagine for instance, what we read in the third epistle of Saint John verse 2: 3John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Actually, not many have come to realize the emphasis of the Spirit here. The emphasis of the Spirit is the prosperity of your soul.
That’s why I love this scripture: Psalms 1:1-3 [1] Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [2] But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. [3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Giving yourself to the Word of God and prayer will make you a master over the circumstances of life. In fact, you will discover your purpose when you continue with God in prayer and in the study of the Word. What a blessing it is to know God!
