MORE AND MORE GRACE

2 Peter 1:2
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

God wants you to have more of anything that comes from Him. The Bible says: James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

Think about it, “every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights,..” Mine! Just think about it. All the good things and all the perfect things you can ever desire comes from your Heavenly Father. Ha! I refuse to be poor!

Now, from our opening scripture, the Apostle Peter reveals that God gives more and more grace. This shows us that, God loves progress. He wants us to increase and wax stronger in Him. God desires that we walk deeper with Him so that His grace will continually be multiplied unto us – for us to effectively and efficiently do the work He has assigned us to do. The Apostles understood this, that’s why they said: Acts 6:4 “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”
