PRAY FOR YOUR MAN OF GOD
1 Thessalonians 5:25
Brethren, pray for us.
Every leader want to have grateful people around him. Ungrateful people can make your heart sick, though not because you are doing what you are doing just for gratitude per se, there’s a special feeling that comes to everyone after they received a “thank you” for something good they did.
It is somewhat amazing that many church people have not learnt to show gratitude to their Pastors, or shepherds. Every time they have a challenge, they are quick to call their Pastor and just afterwards that’s all. If you are like that, repent now and ask God to forgive you. You must develop the culture of reaching out to your man of God to show him appreciation for his sacrifices and for the wonderful things he did for you. God will not do anything without certain men. If you have a certain man like that as your man of God, choose to honour him and God will honour you.
Understand that one of the highest forms of showing gratitude to your man of God is by praying for him privately. Though it is not necessary that he gets to know about it, you can still let him know. There were times Apostle Paul mentioned to the believers that he had been praying for them. So there’s nothing wrong with praying for your man of God and letting him know about it.
