PRAY WITHOUT CEASING – Part Two
Ephesians 6:18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
From our previous study, we read the encouraging and faith provoking story of the widow Jesus spoke about who did not stop pressing and crying unto the judge day and night until her request was granted.
From that passage we read in Luke 18, we can understand that faith is also patient. The widow had faith in he Judge and knew that if only she will not give up, the judge will intervene and grant her request.
I don’t know what you are going through and how long you have been going through what you are going through. If only you can hold onto your faith and not give up in prayer, you will surely have your petition granted by God. God is merciful, loving and kind. He wants the best for you.
Someone may ask, “if He loves me that much, why don’t He just answer my request the first time?” Well, that’s a good question though but it is childish.
Much more than you think it is God Who is going to change something, the power to effect the change you want to see is actually in your hands – God gave you the power to make the changes you want to see in your life. Lets continue tomorrow

Dear Father, I am very grateful for your Word. Thank you for teaching me and opening my eyes to the essence of prayer through this devotional. In Jesus name, Amen!
