PATTERN OF GOOD WORKS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
Continuing from yesterday’s devotional, the next thing I want to mention is for you to be results oriented. As you preach the Word of God to yourself and do what it says, observe the results they produce in you. By observing the results they produce in you, you will be motivated to do more.
In addition to preaching the Word, I want you to know that preaching the Word of God alone will not produce the expected results. You must add prayer to it. Whether you are preaching to yourself or to others, you must always invest good amount of time in prayer. That is why the Bible says: 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing.”
To be able to preach the Word soundly, you must invest precious time in studying the Word of God. Search the scriptures, become addicted to the Word of God. When you fill yourself with the Word, when the pressures of life comes – it is the Word that you are filled with that will come out. So, keep feeding on the Word, preaching it to yourself and to others
