PROSPERITY IS GOD’S IDEA
Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
I wonder what kind of God it will be who will teach me how to get something “evil”. Think about that, will God teach you how to prosper if He is against your prosperity? Certainly not! He is teaching you how to prosper and have good success because prosperity is His idea.
Let’s look at a wonderful scripture in line with this: 3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” The Word of God is sweet! Whatever your questions are, you can always find answers in the Word.
Now, some folks misunderstand the message of prosperity.
They limit it to money and material things. In as much as God is not against money and even material things, the message of prosperity goes beyond money and material things. Jesus said: Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
The emphasis on this scripture is, “seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness;…”. That’s what we are talking about.
