REMEMBER THESE WORDS
Acts 20:35
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Until you have made up your mind and decided in your heart to do whatever the Word of God teaches us to do, you will not yield fruits.
You need to know that God is interested in your prosperity. If indeed He is interested in your prosperity, then it must mean that every thing He is showing us from His Word should be trusted.
Having accepted the Lordship of Jesus Christ, knowing Him and doing what He expects of us is very key in our relationship with Him. He said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
Understand that these are the very words of Jesus Christ. If therefore they are the words of Jesus Christ, then they should be taken seriously.
In fact, the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation is a revelation of Jesus Christ. Everything points to Him, we must therefore take the Bible seriously.
Now, giving helps you maintain what you already have and also bring to you immeasurable blessings from God.
Do not take giving for granted, it is God’s laid out system for abundance. Give your time to prayer. Give your time to the Bible. Give your tithe and be faithful with it. Give your offerings and be committed to it.
