SALVATION IS FREE

Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

There are so many people in our world today who do not know that salvation is free. Salvation is found only in Jesus Christ and it is absolutely free! The Bible clearly shows us that we are saved by grace through faith.

Eph.2.8 Saving is all his (God’s) idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! (MSB)

Eph.2.8 For it is by free grace (God ‘s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ ‘s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; (AMP)

You see, you are saved not because of what you have done, or what you are doing or what you will do. Your salvation from start to finish is as a result of what God accomplished in Christ Jesus for you.

The working out of your salvation is not to “save” you, it is for you to live the new life that you have in Christ Jesus. You must know and understand that you are saved and that it is by faith in Christ Jesus alone.
