SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD – Part 2

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Yesterday, we learnt that, “God truly wants you to get anything you want in this life but it depends on whether you will reason with Him.”

Let us take a scripture in line with this statement from the book of Isaiah: Isa.1.18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool. (AMP)

Isa.1.19 If you’ll willingly obey, you’ll feast like kings.(MSB)

So when Jesus stated that seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you, He was stating reality! He Himself is reality.

God does not want you to be worried about material things. The Bible says He knows that you have need of them. Only be concerned about how to please Him every day and you will have whatever you need.

Study the Word, reason with Him, that is how you will eat the good of the land.

Matt.6.30 – If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Matt.6.31 – So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’Matt.6.32 – For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
