SHARPEN YOURSELF WITH THE WORD – PART TWO
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Having understood that we are offspring of the Word, we must now live out what we have within. It is perfectly normal for us to live in accordance to what God says in the Word.
For example, it is normal for the child of God to be prosperous and healthy:
3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
The way to sharpen yourself with the Word of God is through meditation on God’s Word. This will bring about your transformation as the Bible says in the book of Romans:
Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
To be sharpened is to be transformed by the renewing of your mind!
