SOMETHINGS GOD LIKES – Part 1.

The Passion Translation John 14:15 “Loving me empowers you to obey my commands.

God likes many things, we will just look at a few. You cannot love a person without giving him your attention. People often pay attention to whomever they love most. They will do anything to spend time with the object of their love.

If you spend time with God, He will be happy with you. God loves attention. He likes it when you keep your mind on Him always. You must fight to constantly keep your mind on God all the time. Isa.26.3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. (NIV)

In the book of Isaiah 26:3, we see how the mind of God is revealed to us to understand that keeping our minds on God is important. Remember, the Bible is given by inspiration of God.

A remarkable statement I have found in the whole Bible says: Isa.1.18 “Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. (NIV)

This is a divine invitation! God wants you to reason with Him. He likes it when you reason with Him in the Word (through meditation), and in prayer.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for granting me power to render useless and ineffective the works of the devil. I am free from every form of distraction.
