SOMETHINGS GOD LIKES – Part 2

The Passion Translation John 14:15 “Loving me empowers you to obey my commands”.

Another thing God loves is worship. He likes it when you worship him especially when you make special times alone to do that. In worship, you give Him your total being, your spirit, soul and body. You cannot be worshipping the Lord and pressing your phone, you have no respect for God.

Focus on Him in worship, contemplate on the scripture. Get yourself into the moment, press to adore Him as reverently as you can. Keep His name Holy, He is the great God. The most High, treat Him in worship with the highest reverence.

Another very important thing that God likes is offering. When you give with reverence (Godly-fear), God is always happy.

Remember the story of Cain and Abel. Concerning Abel’s offering, the Bible says: Gen.4.4 “And Abel brought of the firstborn of his flock and of the fat portions. And the Lord had respect and regard for Abel and for his offering,” (AMP) 2Cor.9.7

I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give. That will protect you against sob stories and armtwisting. God loves it when the giver delights in the giving. (MSB)

CONFESSION

I bring pleasure to God. I make God happy because I do the things He likes. I will not grief the Spirit, I will walk in the Word and do what it says.
