THE LIFE OF A VICTOR
Isaiah 43:2 “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
A victorious life is not one without challenges and sometimes struggles of life. A victorious life is a life that is consistent with the Word, producing the results the Word of God talks about. You may be faced with difficulties or some sort of “unending” challenges, take heart, you will never be defeated!
Sometimes people pray for God to take them out of trouble but with proper understanding of the Word of God, you will realize that God has His way of doing things. Our prayers must therefore be based on the Word to have the results we desire. For instance, if you are facing a series of financial troubles – maybe you are in debt, or you desperately need money to solve a problem or undertake a project, the most appropriate way to go about this situation is not to pray for God to take the problem away while you are sitting there waiting for Him to do it. You may get disappointed and think God is not faithful.
In circumstances like the instance I have above, you must quickly find out the right principles in the Word of God for financial increase and expansion and then patiently and relentlessly apply those principles to get the results you want. Meanwhile, in the process you may go through pain but never give up.
