THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
As a new creation in Christ Jesus, you have been ordained by Jesus Christ to bring fruits and that your fruits should remain. John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
This ministry of reconciliation is for every child of God to be actively involved in. Preaching and teaching the love of God. Bringing men and women to the knowledge of God without condemning them in their sins.
When you go to preach, do not condemn people. Stop preaching condemnation and preach salvation; tell them what Jesus came into this world to do for them. Preach the gospel!
The Passion Translation 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 “And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God. In other words, it was through the Anointed One that God was shepherding the world, not even keeping records of their transgressions, and he has entrusted to us the ministry of opening the door of reconciliation to God.” Preach Christ, not the sins of people!
