THE PATH OF LIFE
Psalms 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Jesus prayed an amazing prayer for us and in His prayer, these are some of the striking words He spoke.
John 17:3
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Now, when you read our opening verse, King David was inspired to write: Thou wilt shew me the path of life. Where or what is the path of life then? The path of life is knowing the LORD! It is in knowing Him; in that presence is fullness of God. Your knowledge of Him is where true wealth and riches are.
Lets consider what God said in Jeremiah 9:23-24
[23]Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
[24]But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
