THE PRAYER ATTITUDE OF A VICTOR
Colossians 4:2 “Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;”
As a child of God, you must make up your mind that no matter what happens, you will never give up in prayer. Listen, prayer is potent and can produce massive results if you do it well. You see, that’s why having proper knowledge of God’s Word matter so much. Your knowledge of God’s Word affects literally everything – from spiritual to natural in your life.
To continue in prayer, you must deliberately make up your mind that no matter what happens, you are not stopping, you are not ceasing – refuse to faint! Continue in prayer whether you feel good or not. Continue in prayer whether you receive answers or not. Continue in prayer whether the pain is still there or not. Continue in prayer!
Why do you have to watch in the same with thanksgiving? There are two reasons, one is, the Bible says in all things we should give thanks to God. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” The second reason is, God is not a man that He should lie. Trust Him in prayer, if he has said he will do it, just continue in prayer because He will indeed do it! Numbers 23:23
