THE SECRET OF THE ARMY GENERAL WHO NEVER LOST A BATTLE
Ps.119.34 Give me understanding and I will obey your law; I will put it into practice with all my heart. (NLT)
I pray that you will catch what I am about to share with you today. Your whole life depends on the choices that you make, be very attentive to this message.
King David, the champion who defeated Goliath (who was a giant killer) was always victorious.
God recorded concerning King David that he was the man after His heart (certainly when he, King David, was on earth).
David’s secret is very simple. It is simple to the extent that someone might think, “ah, is that all”? I told you in one of our previous devotionals that when you study the Word, you take it’s shape – this is powerful.
This means, you possess of express the character of the Word. You become and expression of the Word of God.
King David recognized that except he walked in the Word of God, he was doomed. Having recognized that, he constantly prayed to get more insight into the Word.
The secret of the army general who never lost a battle had a secret and I want to show it to you. When you catch it, you will live above the systems of this world.
His secret can be summarized in this scripture: Ps.119.44 Oh, I’ll guard with my life what you’ve revealed to me, guard it now, guard it ever; (MSB)
Fight to keep the Word of God in your heart always and practice it with all your heart.
