SAMUEL NASAM

THE TROUBLES ARE TEMPORARY

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Growing up I faced so many challenges and there were times I wondered if I could come out from those troubles successfully at all. One day, I was studying my Bible and came across a wonderful scripture and I will like to share with you:

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

After I met this scripture, everything about me changed. Light flooded my heart and every kind of fear was banished from my mind. I had no fear whatsoever and anytime trouble came, I stood tall and I won.

Challenges and troubles are not evil. You must understand that God will not prevent troubles from coming your way. God will be with you in the midst of trouble but He will not stop the troubles from coming. The reason is simple: you are more than a conqueror. He made you a victor in this life.

Don’t look at yourself and feel sad, look into the Word and be full of faith! Stop looking at the troubles and stop talking about how difficult the situation is. Start looking at the unseen realities and proclaim the victory you see. To conclude I would say: challenges and troubles are good for your growth.
