THE TRUTH WILL MAKE YOU FREE
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
In the Kingdom of God, knowing the truth and putting it into practice is very important. This is beyond sensual knowledge. We are talking about experiential knowledge, the kind of knowledge that causes you to participate in the reality of what it talks about.
For example, it is not enough to know that God wants you to prosper, your knowledge about the will of God for you to be prosperous must cause you to prosper. So, your life must become an example of the essence of that knowledge which means you have become a participant of that knowledge.
In the book of Hosea, there’s a profound truth that I want us to delve into: Hos.4.6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. (NKJV) My emphasis is the highlighted part, “My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge.” You must understand that this is God speaking and He is referring to those who believe in Him. Their simple lack of knowledge ruined their lives.
How important knowledge is! Now, God wants you to know that prosperity is His plan for you. He wants everything to go on well with you. Live in the wisdom of God knowing that whatever you do must prosper, go and be prosperous!
