Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
You must constantly, continually and persistently wait upon the Lord; spending time with Him in prayer and in the study of the Word. If you are not praying, you are failing! If you are not studying the Word, you are deforming; that’s because, if you are not informed, you will be deformed.
If you are on fire, set someone on fire. If you are not on fire, look for those on fire and bind yourself to them. By all means within the boundaries of Scripture, you must do all it takes to wait upon the Lord.
It is those who wait upon the Lord that renew their strength. If you do not spend time with God, you can’t fly in life – you will not have what it takes to go in the direction God has planned for you.
Make time with God, spend time in your prayer closet.
Psalms 27:14 “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

Dear Father, thank you for granting me the grace to wait upon you. Your Spirit strengthens me as I pray and study your Word, thank you for this privilege. In Jesus name, Amen!
