Proverbs 22:4
By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.
True humility is being rich towards God. I want us to take our opening scripture from other versions of the Bible for you to grasp the message:
Prov.22.4 The reward of humility and the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life. (AMP)
Prov.22.4 The payoff for meekness and Fear-of-GOD is plenty and honor and a satisfying life. (MSB)
Prov.22.4 Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life. (NIV)
Truly, the Word of God thrill me. Ha! What is this! No wonder Jesus Christ is my LORD and my God! That’s why I will preach Him; I will tell the whole world about Him. That’s true humility: when you submit to God’s Word.
When you choose to submit to God’s Word, you have chosen to have a satisfying life; riches and honour will pursue you.
Submit to His Word and you will have no problems with being Humble.
