UNIQUE ONENESS WITH GOD

 

1 Corinthians 6:17 “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.”

If you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you are a completely new being.

The Bible says: 2 Corinthians 5:17

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

So, you are a new creation. The Bible says, old things are past away!

My brother, my sister, this means that you are no longer a sinner but you are now righteous in Christ Jesus!

All things are become new! You did not have to do anything for all things to become new in your life: you didn’t have to live “a righteous life”, “you didn’t have to stop doing bad things”, all you had to do was accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

When you accepted His Lordship over your life, you were delivered from the power of darkness, and translated into the kingdom of his dear Son.

I love what the Bible says in: 1 Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”

You are the one the Bible is referring to in 1 Peter 2:9. And now, our opening scripture makes it clear that we are one (having the same life) with God!

I am one with the Lord. I have His very life in me. The Word of God is operating in my heart and I have the light of God’s Word flooding my heart every day.
