WE ARE IN HIM
1 John 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
The Holy Spirit came to dwell in you forever when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit is Himself God as we see in the scriptures. From our theme scripture, the Bible says: 1John.4.13 This is how we know we’re living steadily and deeply in him, and he in us: He’s given us life from his life, from his very own Spirit. (MSB)
You have the Holy Spirit and the Bible says this is enough proof that we dwell in Christ. Just as the Bible says in: 2 Corinthians 5.17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (KJV) Glory to God!
Now, you know that you are in Him. This means, you are His very own: His child. And as God’s child, you have the very nature of Him. Thus, you are completely righteous in Christ Jesus because you are in Him. You cannot be in Him if you are not righteous but your righteousness was not your doing, it was the doing of God. He declared you righteous because you believed in Jesus Christ; you believed the gospel.
Sicknesses and poverty cannot rule in your life. You have conquered all of those. The power that is at work in you now repels sicknesses and crushes the works of the devil. Give the Lord praise for His love towards you: He loves you.
