WHO DO YOU WALK WITH?
Amos 3:3
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
The kind of company you keep will affect you in several different ways. Check this out:
Proverbs 13:20 “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”
From Proverbs 12:20, we understand that God wants us to walk with the wise because, God dislikes foolishness. If God does not want you to be foolish, then, He certainly want you to be wise and it is clear in the scripture above.
He wants us to walk with the wise so that we become even more wiser.
Who is the wise? Psalms 111:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”
A wise man or woman is one that fears the Lord and is always ready to do what God wants done and how He wants it done. Walk with people who are knowledgeable and are willing to teach you or share their wisdom with you and also walk with people who are willing to learn from you and to grow with you.
